Alek Martin — not a life coach. A coach for people with real issues.

Let’s cut the crap. You’re here because something hurts, something’s stuck — or you want to build something new. And you want to know one thing: can I actually help.

So no coach-speak. Here’s the truth about me — read it, and decide if I’m your guy.

Online in four languages wherever you are, or in person in Berlin.

I know I can help. Why? Because I’ve been through the mill myself — I know where you are, and I know how to get you where you want to be. Through radical, unfiltered truth.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Alek. Most people live a life their past chose for them. I help you take it back.

Born in Luxembourg to a 16-year-old who couldn’t love me, raised by a family that made each generation more toxic than the last. Award-winning pro athlete, dog lover, and above all a survivor of severe childhood trauma. I happen to be gay, but I’m not crazy about it. I left home at 16, lived in nine countries, and was a self-made millionaire in my twenties.

In 2009 the woman who raised me died — and my resilience went with her. The business went, then the rest: breakdown, addiction, HIV, homelessness. I did what was necessary to survive, and trust me, it was hell on earth — things only God, the devil and I know about. But I refused to stay there. I was only a visitor to that life, not a resident. I rebuilt from zero, at almost 50. So what will it be for you?

The shame of those seven years in the gutter ate me alive — until I decided to own it fully, stop giving a f*ck, and start living the way I want. Now I help people — not for its own sake, but because it keeps me sane.

Whatever you carry — old pain, a crisis, or a business you never let yourself build — bring it.

Considering the life I've led, there is nothing you can't talk to me about — and judgement is not part of who I am.

IN THEIR WORDS

"I gave birth to my son at 17. I wasn't just absent for him — I was a bad mother his whole life. I rejected him, I watched him struggle, I watched him unable to develop self-love. He nearly lost his life, and still, I couldn't be there. Then, at 65, I came across Alek. He showed me, in a way no one else ever had, what it truly means to parent. He understood me because he carried a story similar to my son's — and that's why his words cut through my walls. Through the work we did, I found the courage to contact my son. It wasn't a long call, maybe ten minutes. But behind it were hours of self-growth. In those minutes, I was finally able to tell him the truth. He heard me. And even more importantly — I heard him. And for the first time, I was also able to hear myself. We're not in touch now, even after that call. But I know he got me. I know he felt me. And for the first time in my life, I forgave myself. That forgiveness has set me free."

"Contrary to popular belief, some people are good at more than one thing — and Alek is one of them. He helped me deal with my identity issues and build a completely authentic business around who I actually am: the branding, the site, and my emotional wellbeing, all at once. Now I love what I do, work less, and make at least the same money as before."Ludovic · Paris

REBUILDING IN PUBLIC

Owning your past, out loud.

Rebuilding in public is nothing else but owning your past in an empowered way — showing yourself, and the world, that this is who you are. Along the way you help people with your story, and by doing that you help yourself.

As a coach I was worried about it at first. Why would anybody in their right mind buy my coaching if I keep sharing the toxic, sad moments of my life? But I had no choice — it was the only way to stay sane.

So rebuilding in public is about not giving a f*ck — without becoming a narcissist. It’s owning your life: the good, the bad, and the terrible.
