Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language summary of how this website handles your data. It is honest about what actually happens here, which is very little. This is a draft — have it checked by a professional before relying on it as final legal text.

Who is responsible

The short version

• This site has no contact forms, no newsletter sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies.
• It does not build a profile of you or sell any data.
• The only data processed is what any website unavoidably receives, plus fonts loaded from Google.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA), acting as a processor on my behalf. When you visit, the server automatically receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. This is standard for any website and is used only to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts

This site loads the typefaces Space Grotesk and Space Mono from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). To deliver the fonts, Google receives your IP address. No font cookies are set and the data is not used to identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in consistent presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you prefer to avoid this entirely, the fonts can be self-hosted on request.

Cookies

This site uses one small piece of local storage to remember that you have seen the cookie notice. That is not used for tracking. No advertising or analytics cookies are set.

Contacting me

If you write to me by email or WhatsApp, I receive and store what you send so I can reply. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.; its own privacy terms apply to messages sent through it. I keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or as required by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, and objection regarding your personal data. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email me at the address above.
