Terms & Conditions

Applies to all coaching, talks, keynotes, workshops, trainings and webinars by Alek Martin.

By booking any session or service you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms are governed by German law. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.

1. Nature of Services

All services provided by Alek Martin are coaching in nature. They are not therapy and do not replace medical or psychological treatment. Alek Martin is not a licensed therapist or medical professional.

2. Responsibility

Clients and organisations are fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes during and after any service. Alek Martin is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation.

3. Confidentiality & Safety

All information shared in sessions is strictly confidential. Confidentiality may be lifted if there is a risk of self-harm, harm to others, or if legally required.

By booking, clients confirm they are not experiencing suicidal ideation at the time of the service and agree to inform the coach immediately if this changes.

5. Payment & Refunds

All payments are binding upon booking. The following refund policy applies:

Clarity Call (60 min · €150): A full refund may be requested within 7 days of the call — no questions asked.
All other services: Strictly non-refundable after the first session or payment has been made.

6. Keynotes, Workshops, Trainings & Webinars

Once a date is booked and confirmed, fees are non-refundable. One reschedule is permitted with a minimum of 14 days' notice, subject to availability. Cancellations with fewer than 14 days' notice cannot be rescheduled.

If Alek Martin must cancel due to illness or emergency, a new date will be offered at no additional cost.

Organising parties are responsible for:

Participant safety and behaviour
Appropriate space and technical equipment
Staff presence during sessions involving minors
Follow-up support for participants where appropriate

7. Attendance & Punctuality

Missing a session without 24 hours' notice will result in the full session fee being charged. Late arrivals will not extend the session beyond its scheduled end time.

8. Recording

Audio or video recording of any session is not permitted without prior written permission. Any approved recordings may be used for internal purposes only.

9. Couples & Family Sessions

Sessions may be paused at the coach's discretion if one participant is pressuring, influencing, or controlling another. Sessions will resume only when all parties agree to continue constructively.

10. Termination

Alek Martin reserves the right to end the coaching relationship at any time without refund if:

False information has been provided
Agreed terms have been violated
The client requires psychological or medical treatment beyond the scope of coaching

Unused sessions do not expire unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by German law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
